Joy is spending time with old friends and watching your child play. Greeting your significant other after a long day, trying something new and laughing with your best friend. Wherever you find it, joy is best when it's shared.

My friend Tim (pictured) and I were in a park for a mate's birthday party. One of our mutual friends had brought along her pet, a most beautiful cockatiel called "Rocky". Everyone was enamoured with Rocky. Everyone apart from Tim that is. Tim has had an aversion to birds since childhood. Though with a little encouragement, Tim let Rocky on his shoulder, and from that day on he's started to appreciate birds that much more!

My sister, Emily and I love to travel and she is my best friend and favorite travel partner. We don't always travel far, but we always have an amazing time when we're together. This was taken one summer in front of The Bean in Chicago, just 40 miles from where our parents lived. It was a spontaneous shot and because Emily is a dancer, her joy was captured perfectly on the first jump. We live 1,500 miles away from each other now, but I can't wait for our next trip together... this time to Miami.

I was in Slovenia's capital Ljubljana. It's Christmas Day and all are out. I walk into the centre where one man with two sticks, a rope and a bucket of soapy water, is giving the children more joy than anything else. How best to show it than to get a picture through one of his bubbles!

This is my daughter, Ella, finishing the annual Color Run in Hermanus, South Africa. She ran it with her cousins and my sister. Unfortunately, my son was not well, so we (my wife and I) waited with him at the finish line as we watched thousands of runners finish this very bright and happy event all covered in a range of dyes. Eventually, we saw Ella come around the corner and when she saw us couldn't contain her joy and this smile covered her face for a long time after I took this photo! Hopefully next year I will be able to do this event and will make sure to wear the Narrative Clip to capture an insider's view. I look forward to showcasing my beautiful country through the eyes of the Narrative Clip!

I like rain, but more than the rain I love the weather just before it; "cloudy, the sound of breeze". This is one such moment where I was enjoying the pre-rainy weather and my emotions was captured by my sister at the right moment. I like my life to be a bit adventurous, and small things like this give me joy and complement my thinking and my way of living an adventurous life. Thanks to #Capturejoy for making even more of my adventurous moments like this.

My joy is my fiance, Ryan! This photo is from our super fun engagement photo shoot in the Design District of Miami, Florida. We met with our amazing photographer (Cengiz of Adagion Studio) at 5 a.m. to get this shot as the sun was rising... it was the first photo we took that day and popping a bottle of champagne was such a fun way to begin. The area is called Wynwood Walls and artists are invited to showcase their talents via graffiti and street art on warehouse walls. It is an incredibly colorful area full of joy and each masterpiece is more impressive than the next. We were drawn to the colors of this one... especially the expressiveness of the eyes. The art is constantly changing and we can't wait to go back with my Clip 2 and explore!

I had been trying all Summer to get my 3-year-old, Kieran, to try swimming without his swimmies on. I told him that if he could learn how to jump into the pool without his goggles and without holding his nose, that he could also swim. This was his jump, eyes wide open & without fear, right before he wore his swimmies for the last time. It was a turning point in both our lives because it meant that he was on his way to being a little boy instead of a baby. The joy on his face brings tears to my eyes because there is so much excitement & fearlessness. Immediately after this shot, his older brother helped me take his swimmies off and he never used them again.
The photo was captured as my wife and I were walking down the aisle at the end of our ceremony at our wedding this summer. Emotions were running high with joy after my wife surprised me and my entire family by wearing my grandmother's wedding dress for the ceremony. The photo captures our family and friends showering us with dried flower petals. It was truly a joyful moment.
Little girl in the village of Akplamafu, Ghana submitted by Cassie L. from Georgia.
We had just purchased the remaining building materials to complete a basic, two room school block. The little girl was especially excited as we were just about to commence on a celebration ceremony with the entire village where the Chief blessed the materials and the new school block. By completing the school block, the government provided two additional teachers to further the education in the rural village.
Kei is the one lucky winner of Narrative’s Golden Ticket Contest. This means that Kei gets to go on a trip across the world to reconnect with his loved ones - and Kei’s loved ones are located in Osaka, Japan.
It was back in 2010, when Kei as a Swedish High School student received a scholarship from the Japanese Government, that he first met Nasu; the friend he will now go to Osaka to reconnect with.
“I was welcomed by the whole family and their relatives. They treated me with genuine kindness, cheering me up, and treating me with the most delicious food, I was completely blown away by their unbelievable kindness and empathy towards me”
Equipped with a Narrative Clip 2, Kei will be going to Osaka in early 2016 - 5 years after he last saw his good friend Nasu with family! New great memories will be made, and hopefully, many joyous times and authentic smiles will be captured.
